Hot flashes without menopause...? - perimenopause at 46 years

I am 46 years old. I have all the evidence - not menopause or perimenopause. However, occasionally it has for many years, I'm so hot that it is, I'm going to the "spontaneous" feeling during the night, the warmth of my body wakes me up in a blanket to launch attacks on me. But do not worry. I knew as I do when I run. Sudo then I do my hair when they get done. So my question is: What kind of freaky hot flushes, and why my body does not perspire, I cool? Is it perimenopause / menopause thing? Tests can be wrong?
